Our Founder, Jay Nomakeo, is a retired 32-year truck driver with a passion for the game. He started Golf Tournament Solutions five years ago and grew the business to over 300 events per year with continued double-digit growth. He has had a blast growing the business and building a great team of people around him. Working in the golf industry that he is passionate about while also helping tournaments raise money for charity has been a dream come true.
In early 2022 Jay brought on additional partners to help him take the business nationwide and revolutionize the air cannon industry.
Our Manufacturer and Partner, Air Cannon Frank, solved the number one issue with air cannons and accuracy by designing and patenting a Progressive Parabolic Curved Barrel Employing the Fibonacci Sequence. This revolutionary barrel and cannon design creates spin which in turn results in greater distance and accuracy than any other cannon on the market.
The best part of the business is Air Cannons are new to many golfers and event coordinators. In the next five to 10 years, we anticipate explosive growth of not only the air cannons but servicing the golf tournament industry as a whole.
Our Mascot, AKO (a gnome), was created by partner Connor Nomakeo many years ago, not knowing AKO would represent a national company someday. The character is a play on Connor’s last name gnomeako and is quite ingenious. Not a day goes by that golfers don’t ask for apparel with the character logo, and that will soon become a reality.

Included In Your Licensee Fee
For a Licensing fee, you will secure an exclusive territory and we will work with you to begin marketing the Air Cannon business to golf tournaments and courses in your area.
GTS will research 500-800 events in your area and begin to market to them on your behalf. We have state of the art marketing infrastructure and processes that will continually generate leads in your area. We will also provide you with marketing materials to share with event planners and courses on your own. Most events will generate 1-3 leads.
If you are motivated to grow your business, you will be able to have hundreds of tournaments in your area each year and run multiple events on busy days.
